A river winds through folded, golden hills beneath a sky heavy with dramatic storm clouds — the kind of vast, untamed scenery that pulled Chris north again and again. Rows of dark spruce trace the contours of the valley while tundra grasses blaze amber and rust in the foreground. This is the Yukon at its most elemental: scale, weather, and colour working together to convey just how remote and wild this frontier landscape truly is.
