Massive cumulus clouds rear up over the MacKenzie River like a creature surfacing from the deep — muscular, coiling forms of white against a saturated prairie-blue sky. Chris was drawn to the drama of northern skies, and here he pushes that fascination further, giving the clouds an almost sculptural, animate quality. It’s a striking departure into pure atmosphere, where the land below becomes a quiet stage for the real subject: the sky’s raw, shifting power.
