A perfectly still lake mirrors the surrounding hillside, its autumn palette of amber, rust, and ochre softened into a hazy reflection on the water’s surface. Dark spruce frame the shore on either side, drawing the eye toward the muted, distant hills where fall colour meets the misty sky. This is Algonquin at its most tranquil — Chris capturing that rare, breathless calm that turns a lake into a second sky.
