What once stood tall in the forest now rests among the fallen leaves, becoming a home and source of life for something new. I was drawn to the contrast between the aging wood and the delicate fungi growing across its surface. It’s a reminder that in nature, an ending is rarely just an ending. Life changes form, makes room, and begins again.
