Tower Grove Park St. Louis, Missouri | August 2016 For my birthday in August 2016, I gave myself the day off and spent it doing something I had always loved—taking photographs. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that day marked the beginning of my return to photography. This was one of the images I captured, and I’ve called it Birthday Tulip ever since. I picked up my camera again that day, and this time, I never really put it back down.
