Ancient, weathered peaks rise in bands of rust, gold, and stone-grey beneath a churning northern sky, their slopes striped with the rich colour of alpine tundra vegetation in full autumn display. In the foreground, a carpet of purple and crimson grasses ripples down toward the mountains like a painted tapestry. Chris gives full weight to the word “titans” here — these are not gentle hills but massive, ancient forms, holding their own against a sky just as dramatic and immense.
