A cluster of windswept pines clings to the Georgian Bay shoreline as a storm sweeps in overhead — the sky a swirl of blue-grey, the granite layered and warm beneath. Where Chris often isolated a single tree against the elements, here the pines stand together, tangled and resilient, holding the shoreline against the wind as a group.
