About the artist

Carl Schwartz

American

1935-2014

American painter and printmaker. Known for his watercolors, prints and acrylic paintings of water gardens, koi fish, landscapes and still life. Explored the effects of light, atmosphere and form. Taught at the North Shore Art League for nearly 30 years before moving to Florida where he joined the Art Program at Florida Gulf Coast University.
