About the artist

Bob Timberlake

American

b. 1937

Received his B.S. in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Timberlake started his painting career in 1970 despite no formal art education. Has had solo shows at the Gallery of Contemporary art in Winston-Salem, NC, the Corcoran Gallery in Washington D.C., and the Hammer Gallery in New York City. He has exhibited internationally at the Isetan Gallery in Tokyo and Japan and in Moscow and Berlin as part of the competition for the Hubbard Award for Excellence.
