About the artist

Jack Kapsa

American

American photographer and painter. Kapsa earned his MFA from the University of Notre Dame and later became a photography instructor at St. Joseph High School in South Bend. He blends painting and photography in dark room processes to create surreal images. He recieved the Lilly Endowment Inc. Teacher Creativity Fellowship grant (2014), and has been featured in national and regional (Indiana) exhibitions.
