About the artist

McKendree Robbins Long

American

1888-1976

American painter. Studied at the Arts Student League in New York before travelling around Europe. Primarily depicted portraits, religious landscapes, and Apocalyptic scenes. Became a minister, putting painting to the side, before returning to painting in retirement.
