This collection is a response to repair/heal/coexist through acts of gathering, transforming, and reconnecting fragments.
Amidst the fragmentation that divides humanity and our ecosystems, Mending Confluence explores the act of reconnecting what has been separated. Through architectural skins, sustainable collage, and assemblage, these works transform discarded textiles and found materials into cohesive forms that speak to repair, resilience, and the interconnected threads that bind all life.
Each piece is painstakingly constructed from unlikely fragments—layering texture, color, memory, and material to create new narratives of coexistence. What was once discarded is reimagined, becoming a visual metaphor for restoration and the possibility of finding harmony within a fractured world.
Through vibrant hues and whimsical compositions, these works merge playfulness with urgency, inviting reflection on consumption, sustainability, and our relationship with the natural world. Like the threads woven throughout the collection, our connections to one another and to the planet are fragile, complex, and essential.
Mending Confluence continues my exploration of balance—revealing that repair is not about returning to what was, but about discovering new ways to come together.
