“Sungazing” is a ceramic sculpture that reflects the feeling of basking in sunlight. This is a grounding sensation that makes me feel connected to both nature & myself. As I’ve experienced a lot of change throughout my life I’ve recently come to find a home within myself. This piece is reflective of no matter where I am, I am connected to not only myself but the elements & ancestors that surround me.
