"The charming and atmospherically relaxed multi-figure composition by Bohumil Ullrych from 1947 develops one of the artist's most sought-after themes - the motif of women resting after swimming in nature. The foreground is dominated by a generously conceived, sensual lying female nude and next to her is the figure of a country girl with a headscarf in a brick-red dress sitting. The middle and back plans are punctuated by more subtle silhouettes of bathing women on the shore of the water. Ullrych displays his natural romanticism here. He masterfully combines a solid, soft charcoal contour with transparent layers of watercolor and covering gouache. The color palette is dominated by the contrast of warm skin tones with the radiant blue of the sky in the upper left corner and the greenery of a bushy tree. The work shows a strong tendency towards a rural idyll and joy of life. Signed and dated by the artist at the bottom right."

„Půvabná a atmosféricky uvolněná mnohofigurální kompozice Bohumila Ullrycha z roku 1947 rozvíjí jedno z nejžádanějších autorových témat – motiv odpočívajících žen po koupání v přírodě. Popředí dominuje velkoryse pojatý, smyslný ležící ženský akt a vedle ní sedící postava venkovské dívky s šátkem na hlavě v cihlově červených šatech. Střední a zadní plán rytmizují další subtilnější siluety koupajících se žen na břehu vodní hladiny. Ullrych zde projevuje svůj přírodní romantismus. Mistrovsky kombinuje pevnou, měkkou konturu uhlem s transparentními nánosy akvarelu a krycího kvaše. Barevné paletě dominuje kontrast teplých pleťových tónů se zářivým blankytem oblohy v levém horním rohu a zelení košatého stromu. Práce vykazuje silný sklon k venkovské idyle a radosti ze života.
