Now Available! Custom framed original oil painting titled Dairy Queen Sunday by Pat Cross.
In this original oil painting, a young family escapes the encroaching walls of their home to embark on a Sunday afternoon bicycle ride to the local Dairy Queen. Images of creamy vanilla, chocolate syrup and crunchy nuts swirl in their imagination. The family pooch looks giddy to go along for the ride, hopeful for a lick or two of sweet, sticky fingers.
The outer dimension of the artwork frame measures 19" high by 15" wide and 2" deep.
In this oil painting, the artist used all professional grade, archival quality materials and production methods. The oil painting is sealed with a clear, UV protective finish for lasting impressions. It mounts in a handmade, solid wood floater frame with a light poplar face and cocoa colored sides. Dairy Queen Sunday is wired and ready to hang in your home or office.
Dairy Queen Sunday is one of a series of oil paintings by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.
This program, Eleanor’s 2020 Vision, is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Arts, Culture and History and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the WV Commission on the Arts.
