In this oil painting, a young girl tugs gently on the leash of her dog who anticipates entering the yard as usual. However, the girl intends to keep moving on. This painting illustrates the tension between two trekking companions each with different inclinations.
In this 14" x 11" oil painting on a cradled wood panel, the artist used all professional grade, archival quality materials and production methods. The painting is sealed with a clear, UV protective finish for lasting impressions. The wood panel sides and back are sealed with a handsome slate gray paint, making the artwork attractive from any angle when perched on an easel and displayed on a desk, credenza, counter or fireplace mantel.
