Now Showing!at the 90th Year Anniversary of the Town of Eleanor in the Town Hall Gallery.
Original oil painting by Pat Cross titled Stepping Stone.
A woman in a summer dress steadies herself as she tests the stepping stone directly in her view. This painting gives shape and form to the adage, "We don't have to figure it all out at once, we just need to take the next step."
In this oil painting, the artist used all professional grade, archival quality materials and production methods. The painting on canvas is sealed with a clear, UV protective finish for lasting impressions. The painting continues around the deep gallery wrap canvas which adds more dimension to the piece. Mounted in a solid wood mocha floater frame, this painting is wired and ready to hang in your home or office.
"Stepping Stones" is one of a series of oil paintings by Pat Cross on the desirability and viability of living in this small town designed by Eleanor Roosevelt and how that plays out into our modern day.
This program, Eleanor’s 2020 Vision, is presented with financial assistance from the West Virginia Division of Culture and History, and the National Endowment for the Arts, with approval from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
