Cutaway brings together my fascination with paper, my obsession with the human profile, and my background in graphic design. Through layered paper, bold shapes, and graphic portraiture, the series explores identity, connection, and the ways we see ourselves in one another.
Each work is built through cutting, layering, and simplifying, reducing the portrait to its essential forms while allowing unexpected relationships to emerge between color, shape, and figure.
