One of the first pieces created for Finding Buoyancy, Buoyancy Legend derived from drawings and became a kind of map legend for navigating change. Collaged fragments of a larger wax collagraph print form the symbols, while the red inset lines reference my earlier Opposing Cartographies series. Here, the red lines organize the surface like coordinates to set boundaries on a personal map.
