Born in Argentina and then residing in Valencia, Spain, Hyuro is best known for her surrealist and sometimes whimsical approach to her subjects. Her work embodies a sense of eerie playfulness by blending thematic issues of politics, nature and feminine identity. Hyuro passed away in 2020 after a battle with leukemia but has left with works gracing several different countries around the world.
