No One’s In A Hurry has nowhere it needs to be five minutes ago. It is steady, self-assured, and perfectly comfortable letting the rest of the world rush past. There is movement here, but no panic—just the quiet certainty of knowing that getting somewhere eventually is still getting there.
Description
Six abstract sea turtles rise through a cool underwater field of layered blues, icy whites, and textured plaster. Each turtle is constructed from individual pieces of glass, with turquoise, aqua, and pale cream fragments forming shells, heads, and flippers that project physically from the painted surface.
The plaster creates the shifting texture of water around them—currents, ripples, and trails that seem to move vertically across the canvas—while the glass turtles catch the light differently from the surface beneath them. Some are immediately recognizable; others take a moment to assemble in the eye.
That unrushed procession is where No One’s In A Hurry gets its identity. There is no race happening here. Six turtles are simply making their way through the water, each at its own pace, and apparently none of them received the memo that they were supposed to be somewhere already.

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush. Avoid soaking, scrubbing, harsh cleaners, and direct spray cleaners. Take particular care around the edges of the glass elements and raised plaster. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight when possible.
