JD Hecht is a Nashville-based mixed media artist and the founder of Creatively Cutz. With over a decade of experience in graphic and content design for corporate conventions, trade shows, and exhibits, his work is rooted in the balance between structure and creative exploration.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, JD discovered a new artistic direction that transformed his creative practice. What began with layered shadow boxes evolved into “dimensional canvases”—multi-layered works that combine depth, texture, and storytelling. His art has since expanded to include acrylic painting, quilling, and abstract compositions, blending precision with fluid, expressive movement.
