Anne Gomes has been a photographer for over 25 years and most often use black and white film and large format cameras. "I like to photograph in the environment and particularly like the tension between the natural world and our constructions. I like overgrown gardens and buildings in the process of decay, covered by the tendrils of climbing vines or embraced by the branches and roots of large plants. When I photograph interiors, I try to depict atmosphere and a sense of the lives molded by these settings. "
