Martin Garcia-Rivera born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico in 1960, Martin is a teacher and artist dedicated to the disciplines of printmaking, drawing, and painting.
As a printmaker he has participated in international exhibitions and won prizes and awards in Poland, Canada, Russia, Sweden, United States, Spain, Italy, Egypt, and Macedonia.
Through his images, Garcia-Rivera strives to generate feelings about social, racial, cultural and philosophical issues from his point of view as an individual and an artist in Caribbean society.
