"Good bye Summer" is a beautifully rendered colored pencil masterpiece that transports the viewer to a serene coastal scene. Measuring 9x12 inches, this artwork captures the essence of a peaceful seaside landscape, perfectly encapsulating the quiet farewell to summer.

The left side of the composition is dominated by an intricate, bright yellowish tree, whose delicate branches and foliage stand in vibrant contrast to the expansive blue of Lake Michigan. The lake, depicted in mesmerizing shades of blue and turquoise, seamlessly blends into the horizon under a soft, pastel sky adorned with wispy clouds. This careful color transition creates a harmonious balance that draws the viewer’s eye across the entire piece.

Set against the unique backdrop of blue paper, the subtle textures and rich colors achieve a depth and realism that bring this tranquil scene to life. Inspired by a visit to a beach near Two Rivers, Wisconsin, the artwork captures the reflective beauty of nature, making it a captivating addition to any collection. The peaceful atmosphere invites viewers to pause and appreciate the serene moment, creating a sense of calm and contemplation.
