Trained in classical Greek sculpture at Beijing's Central Academy of Fine Arts and recognized for his decade-long contemporary practice with the collective UNMASK, Jun Kuang relocated to the United States in late 2019, expanding his oeuvre into painting. His current series juxtaposes monumental, anonymous human silhouettes against vast, elemental landscapes—capturing the primordial connection, timeless wonder, and psychological resonance between the human body and the sublime natural world.
