Harold Boyd

American

b. 1938

American artist working with the figure. Boyd worked in vairous media including sculpture, painting, drawing, and cut-outs. His figures are active and are often performing movements such as dance, dialogue through gestures and physical exertion. Boyd's figures are often recognizable people in history, including Adlai Stevenson, Eleanor Roosevelt, William Carlos Williams, Gandhi, and other heroes.
