About the artist

George Snyder

American

b. 1951

Born in Charleston, West Virginia and studied pre-law at Marshall University. Later changed course of studies and received his B.A. in art with full honors in 1973. Earned a fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and later earned his masters in Fine Arts in 1976. Best known for pioneering acrylic techniques. Has had solo exhibits at many museums including the Arden Gallery, Boston, Los llanos Gallery, Santa Fe, and Dubins Gallery, Los Angeles.
