About the artist

Stephen Anaya

American

b. 1946

Stephen Anaya (born 1946) is an American printmaker and art educator. He studied at the University of Southern California and U.C.L.A. Anaya’s original prints have been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally in Brazil, Venezuela, Latvia, and Great Britain. He has taught at U.C.L.A., Maryland Institute, and Santa Monica College, California. His work is included in the permanent collections of several institutions, such as the Art Institute of Chicago, University of South Carolina, University of Georgia, Yale University, and the Library of Congress, Washington, DC. He currently lives and works in Reseda, California.
