About the artist

Nicholas Monro

British

1936-2022

Nicholas Monro was a British sculptor, printmaker, and teacher. He was born in London in 1936. He studied at the Chelsea School of Art (1958-1961), then taught at the Swindon School of Art and the Chelsea School of Art (1968). He is one of the few British pop artists to work in sculpture and is known for his use of fiberglass.
