About the artist

Robert Malone

American

b. 1933

American landscape painter. Malone received his MFA from the University of Mississippi and his BFA from the Memphis College of Art. Since 1997, he has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Mississippi where he teaches drawing, color theory, and painting. In his landscape works, Malone captures the sublimity and spirituality of nature. He has primarily exhibited in the Southern United States.
