About the artist

John Talleur

American

1925-2001

Studied at the Institute of Art in Chicago and earned his master’s degree from the University of Iowa.Taught at the University of Kansas for 40 years and was named professor emeritus of printmaking there. Works reside in the permanent of collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Smithsonian American Art Museum among other institutions.
