Israeli sculptor and experimental artist. Born 1928, Agam was known for his contributions to the kinetic and optical art movements. Agam studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and incorporates his religious philosophies and beliefs into his work. Later in life, he lived and worked in Paris, as he explored the ways in which his art could engage and build upon the idea of spectator participation.
