American photographer. Based in Honolulu, HI. Rooted in deep admiration for the sea, Mock-Bunting’s images seek to redefine one’s relationship with the natural resources of the ocean, and to challenge the overwhelming ignorance or disrespect humans hold in regards to the sea. Graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in photojournalism, and has since been published in TIME magazine, National Geographic Adventure, the New York Times, and the Chicago Tribune, among others.
