Carin Kulb Dangot is a Brazilian abstract painter and sculptor. Through experimentation and intuitive processes, she explores acrylic paint's materiality and endless visual potential, creating works that resonate with both her intent and the serendipitous fate of the creative process.
Dangot's art has been exhibited in prestigious venues, including NY Live Arts, Christie's, The Cluster Gallery, Deanna Evans Project, ChaShaMa, Governors Island Art Fair (GIAF), Phyllis Harriman Mason Gallery, Soho20, and The Painting Center in New York, NY, Tiger Strikes Asteroid in Philadelphia, PA, as well as the Augusta Savage Gallery in Amherst, Massachusetts. In her home country of Brazil, her work has been displayed at the Brazilian Museum of Sculpture and Casa Galeria in São Paulo.
In recognition of her contributions to non-objective art, Dangot received the Leonard Rosenfeld Merit Scholarship and the Lloyd Sherwood Grant from the Art Students League in 2012. She was also selected for the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program in 2020.
Her work is held in private collections across New York City and Brazil. Since 2010, she has lived and worked in New York City.
