Biography

Tony has been working professionally for over thirty years as a commercial photographer and twenty four years as a visual artist / educator. He is a photo arts graduate (BAPA) from Toronto Metropolitan University. He currently teaches digital photography, iPhoneography, Photo-Based Mixed Media and Collage at both the University of Victoria (Continuing Education) and The Vancouver Island School of Art (VISA). Tony has also taught workshops at The Coast Collective, The Denman Island Arts Centre, Salt Spring Island Printmakers, The Old School House in Qualicum Beach, MISSA and “Series” at Red Deer College in Alberta. Over the last twenty four years, Tony has worked in several different mediums, including digital artwork, alternative based photography, mixed media, collage and encaustics. His work draws inspiration from his travels, the environment, historic portraiture, crows, dogs and Ai imagery. He exhibits and sells his own fine art prints and mixed media work throughout North America.
