Born in Aotearoa New Zealand and currently based in Naarm/Melbourne, I am a visual artist specialising in layered, abstract mixed-media paintings.
Although art was always a part of my childhood, it wasn’t a straightforward career path. Encouraged to pursue a more traditional route, I first earned degrees in Business and Health Science, building a professional career in those fields for over a decade. However, a long-held, intuitive calling to make art led me to pursue a more fulfilling creative path.
In 2017, I completed a drawing course and spent time living and working in New York, an experience that profoundly shaped my artistic practice. Since then, my work has been collected internationally. In 2023, I was honoured to be selected by the co-founder and curator of the National Emerging Art Prize (Australia) to participate in a group exhibition. This opportunity led to my first solo exhibition with Michael Reid Northern Beaches in early 2024, followed by a second solo show later that year at Brunswick Street Gallery in Melbourne. I have also participated in several group exhibitions, including a return to Michael Reid Northern Beaches in early 2025. Currently, I am in the final year of a Bachelor of Fine Art (Painting) at RMIT University.
