The Bellows Farm is a beautiful, classic barn in Fairfax Vermont. It's no longer a working farm, and the owner passed away not to long ago. Working with photographer Francis Demelogue we were able to get access to this iconic wonder. As photogenic as it is from the front, views all around the barn and farm buildings, from all sides were amazing. This location will be the source of many paintings in the coming months and years, but this little gem was the one I wanted to start with. The collection of buildings and silos, with the late afternoon light creating interesting shade patterns, really excited me when I first saw it. Let's hope the farm finds a way to stay relevant somehow. To see it degrade into disrepair will almost be painful.
