John Keyse Sherwin was an English engraver and history painter who specialized in portrait prints. He trained under Bartolozzi 1769-74, while studying at the RA schools. Sherwin described himself on a print of c. 1775 as 'Engraver to His Majesty & His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales'. He was a member of fashionable society until his death in 1790.
