Ingrid Evans was born in Berlin, Germany and moved to the United States when she met her husband, Larry Evans, in 1949. She worked mainly in multi-media pieces, incorporating painting, printmaking and diverse papermaking techniques. Ingrid wrote about artists and art exhibits for a wide number of publications, such as Nevada Museum of Art, Reno, Nevada, Contemporary Art in Lake Worth, Florida, and the Galerie am Fischmarkt, Erfurt, Germany, to name a few.
