Born and raised in Dallas Texas, Angela Kallus received a BFA from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1998 and a MFA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2003. Kallus’ work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions in California, Nevada and Texas, and in group exhibitions throughout the country, including “Las Vegas Diaspora” curated by Dave Hickey. She was a finalist for the Hunting Art Prize in 2013, 2014 and 2016. Kallus resides and works in Fort Worth, Texas and teaches both architectural and fine art drawing, design, and painting at the University of Texas in Arlington.
