Aaron Sheppard was born and raised in Nebraska. Initially learning from his artist father, Sheppard earned his BFA from the George Washington, Corcoran School of of the Arts and Design in Washington, DC and his MFA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. The long-haired, mutton-chopped, 6-foot-4 artist embodies remnants from his various lifestyles - construction worker, art student, drag performer (as "Barbie Q"), and rocker. The performing and fine artist weathered the New York underground scene performing in his band, Peter and the Pansexuals, before finding his way to Las Vegas, where he began focusing on a fine art career, after a family vacation in 2006.
