I am a self-taught abstract expressionist who is inspired by the beauty of colors and motion. I love the random and unique blending and patterning of colors that exists ubiquitously especially in natural phenomenon, processes, and origins. My paintings evoke moments reminiscent of galactic, botanic, and biologic imagery. I express ephemeral and yet everlasting stories through energy, movement, and form in which I convey the limitless potential of color and the planet's life. Although wild and abstract, there is an underlying deliberate intention and structure to my painting. As dramatic as it might sound, for me, colors - aqua, fuchsia, periwinkle, tangerine - are gods and goddesses and I, merely their illustrator. I am always in awe of what emerges on the canvas.
