Theodore is an American-born Black artist who grew up in the Midwest. His humble beginnings shaped his resourceful approach to materials, where “everything” becomes a tool for artistic expression. With a strong focus on recycled and repurposed materials, Theodore transforms overlooked objects into meaningful works that merge sustainability with storytelling. Working across traditional mediums such as acrylic paint, pastel, and custom fabric tailoring, he blends fine art techniques with handcrafted design to create deeply personal and visually striking pieces. His storytelling spirit drives him to create thought-provoking work that challenges viewers’ perspectives while exploring identity, culture, and transformation through texture, color, and material.
