Releasing in honor of Juneteenth, this never-before-seen print pays tribute to the enduring legacy of the Civil Rights Movement, specifically the historic Memphis Sanitation Strike and the powerful declaration, “I AM A MAN.” Created using a drypoint intaglio technique, the piece reflects my unique fusion of abstraction and figuration to capture the spirit, struggle, and dignity of the movement. This work stands as a visual testament to resilience, justice, and the ongoing fight for freedom.
