This series explores the idea of  change over time through the transformation of the equilateral triangle from a 2D shape into a 3D form.  Softening hard edges with curves enhances the interaction between modular pieces.  Bold bright colors and metallic surfaces are heightened by the sun as the play of light and shadow dances across the undulating surfaces marking the passage of time, celebrating the vibrancy of life.  Each piece is meticulously cut, scored, folded and assembled from archival paper and archival glue.  Some are framed and some can be mounted directly to the wall.

Inspired by the Miura fold from origami with its bold zig-zag peaks and valleys, these pieces are playful and fun.   
Positioned to point in each of the 4 cardinal directions each piece can work together as one composition or can be displayed separately.  
Fun fact; this pattern has been used in space to compactly transport folded solar panel arrays that unfold in space.
