The series 'Thoughts Held in Mind' primarily reflects the words of the great thinkers of our past that still hold up to scrutiny today. More than platitudes, these ideas offer meaningful perspective in a noisy modern world. These placards, notecards, wall hangings, etc., are culled from my own scrapbook of collected writings – a tradition more common in an earlier time and made particularly notable by Elbert Hubbard's work at the Roycroft campus in East Aurora, NY. I try to give these ideas accessibility as well as an element of style using typography, ornamentation, and presentation in the hopes that they will continue to live on for many years to come.
