Lydie is a French painter who lives in Lyon, France. She’s a self-taught artist and she dedicates a part of her activity to create Kamishibai (japanese paper play theater). This art consists in painting boards and writing stories that are shared with spectators through a castelet called butai. She always performs her own stories under the name of Louna Vox. ‘’Takaya, l’incroyable loup (the incredible wolf)’’ is the kamishibai she created to honor the wolf Takaya. With a quick stroke and bright colors she paints expressive characters as if she wanted to make them alive unless they are not realistic. She exhibits in galleries and performs kamishibai in the street, librairies, theaters, schools, festivals, etc.
