T Kurtz is a soft pastel artist working on a suede surface. It is a very forgiving surface that embraces soft pastel and it creates rich colors with great depth. T is mostly self-taught in her medium but has had generous input along the way from other talented giants in her field. She paints the landscape around her in North Idaho as well as the Washington Palouse.

Working with soft pastel has certain challenges but she enjoys introducing people to her medium either as collectors or students of her medium.

T Kurtz currently lives in Spokane Washington with her

husband, 2 aloof cats and one energetic kitten, and 2 faithful dogs.
