I spotted these gorgeous cloud pillows in the sky while driving through the beautiful Tweed Valley. I stopped a few times to photograph them, and was keen to begin a small study of this Mooball canefields scene. My plan was to create a large pastel artwork from it, and some months later I was able to make this bigger and more colourful piece of the view.
